Fiorella Friday
Held the first Friday of every month.
With the shopping streets blocked off so it’s your chance to walk and shop to your heart’s content.

History Happy Hour
History Happy Hour is held quarterly the 2nd Thursday of March, June, September & December at 6:30pm at The Landmark Inn. ​ The goal is to bring the history of Castroville and the region to life through historians & family histories. Beer, wine and Food is served.

February - Kid Fish
Held the 2nd Saturday in February, Kid Fish goal is to educate youth to the experience and fun of a lifelong hobby of fishing.
The Friends of Landmark Inn sponsors the annual event.

March & April - Celebrate Castroville Poppies
Visit Castroville in March or April and you’ll see the most amazing sight.
Nowhere else in Texas do Alsatian Red Poppies bloom in such profusion on every street and yard.

April - The Alsatian Festival
Held the last Saturday in April, with the goal of preserving the Alsatian culture that is the cornerstone of Castroville and the remaining Castro Colonies of Medina County. The Festival will feature traditional Alsatian food, beer and wine, a singalong, and dancing.
It will be held at Koenig Park.

May - Beer & Wine Fest
A Fund Raiser Sponsored by The Castroville Chamber of Commerce.
A paid event that includes Beer, Wine, Food, Silent Auction & Entertainment $50 per person (includes 5 drink tickets)

July - Old Fashioned 4th of July
Nothing is more All American than an old fashioned, small town 4th of July celebration.
Starting with a parade, Then a concert, picnic, with food & drink vendors & Fireworks in the park.

August, The 3rd Weekend - St. Louis Day
Dubbed the “Homecoming for the State of Texas” by the Texas Tourist Agency, St. Louis Day is a festival for the whole family filled with great food, fun and live entertainment.

October - The Backyard Bluegrass Concert
Held the 1st Sunday in October the concert features bands and singer/songwriters.
All proceeds go to expanding the Botanical Garden Trail in Castroville’s Regional Park.
